I've been addicted to the new Battlestar Galactica since December. Charles and I have been pacing ourselves, trying not to go through episodes too quickly. We've finally gotten to the last episodes of Season 3.
-- Um...I mean...the final episodes of whatever season we are able to get by perfectly legal means which do not involve illegal downloads whatsoever, Mr. Gonzales.
Anyway, we've taken to watching episodes on the MacBook in bed. (Hot! And geeky!) And the other night, for almost the entire hour and a half of the two-part season finale, the baby rolled around and kicked so hard that Charles, hand on my belly, turned to me to laugh and exclaim "Whoa!"
He still won't let me name the baby Adama or Gaius if it's a boy. (But I still won't let him name it Optimus Prime either.)
Baby Yun and parents have good TV taste! Maybe the baby should be called "boomer" for the enthusiasm? How about Athena, or Apollo, or - I have it! - Hotdog!

Oh my goodness. Josh and I do THE SAME THING!! We watched episodes to season one and two to get caught up on his Macbook in bed!! We love Battlestar...but have not yet watched the last few episodes. HEE HEE!! We're nerds!!

I've FINALLY gotten serious about Galactica again. I tried renting it episode-by-episode when I was single. But, aside from short periods of depression, I couldn't get myself to stay home alone enough to keep up. So what kind of serendipity is it that: 1) Brian and I are now watching it from the beginning and LOVING it and 2) because his ex-wife gave us the whole first season on DVD for christmas. And this was in addition to the silver locket she picked out for me with Isobel. Maybe this whole blended family crap is better than it's cracked up to be. It comes with prizes!
