There's one particularly interesting difference (I think?) between use of national parks here in the Netherlands vs. use of national parks in the States. It's evidenced in an email sent to all the workers at our office - which happens to be located within a Dutch national park:
Colleagues,
Starting today, Staatsbosbeheer has started with large-scale logging in the Dwingelderveld woods. This may cause annoyance to traffic etc, for example at the Oude Hoogeveensedijk.
