Charles woke up Monday morning with a sore throat. By 2:00 he was ready to call it quits and head home. Tuesday followed with achiness and the inability to think clearly.
Today I followed suit. A tickle in the throat. Light-headedness at work. I came home at lunchtime, have tried to sleep most of the afternoon and am finding it embarrassingly difficult to try and read a not very difficult book.
Charles has just left to pick up Aldus from the babysitter's. He's had a cold for the past week but hasn't let it stop him. Lord, give us the strength to keep up with a crawling, curious nine month-old until he goes back to the sitter again tomorrow!
